Noctilucent Clouds in June 2016

First noctilucent clouds spotted this summer on 2 – 3 June 2016 from North Wales. A delicate display of these electric-blue ‘space’ clouds observed over the northern horizon from 11:30pm onwards. The whole display climbed no higher than 4-5 degrees above the horizon.
